UK Caravanners Spend Five Hours Searching Online for Caravan Insurance Earthtimes (press release)
MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM -- 04/18/10 -- The average UK caravan owner spends five hours searching online for a caravan insurance quote, according to a survey carried out by Safeguard, one of the UK's leading providers of caravan and motorhome insurance.The poll of 1,500 Safeguard customers revealed caravanners are spending more time online looking for cheap caravan and motorhome insurance than they were this time last year. In April 2009, caravan owners spent an average three and a half hours online looking for an insurance policy.
The length of time spent by caravanners searching for a caravan insurance quote has increased year on year with Safeguard attributing this to the recession, meaning caravanners are keen to secure the cheapest deals.
Rita Sadler, Safeguard manager said: "The credit crunch has meant customers are increasingly suffering from financial pressures so it's no surprise that caravanners are spending more time searching out the best deals."
